In reply to <a href="https://www.judithfox.com/gone-fishing/#comment-72">mimi reed</a>.

Mimi,

Your lovely comments and response to my photographs touched me deeply. Thank you.

I'd like to give you more information about "Sea of Dreams" and I'd be proud to be included in your highlights tour, but I think it would be easier to do so in an e-mail. If you send me your contact information I'll send you my artist statement and other details that I think may interest you and VMFA viewers
.

By the way, VMFA has always been one of my favorite museums—so I'm particularly delighted to have my work exhibited there.

Warm regards,

Judith

I am a docent at the VMFA and recently saw 3 of your Sea of Dreams series on view. I find myself returning to them again and again. I think they're beautiful - other-worldly, dreamlike, etheral yet slightly eerie - I love them.
I would like to know how you created them and what they represent to you so that I can include them in my hightlights tour.
Thank you.

We do have loving moments together, although he no longer knows who am I. He still cares deeply about people. . . he was a physician--but it's who he is.

My mom is an amazing woman who, like you, believed that she should do it all. In the past five years, she has finally realized she cannot. And it's okay.

I'm putting together a list of books on my blog that I've read that might help people, feel free to share it with others:

God bless you both in your journey, and know that even though he cannot express it, he does still love you--just as my dad loves my mom.

Excellent advice. I found out recently from a geriatric neuropsychologist that depression exhibits in 80% of Alzheimer's and dementia caregivers.

Take care of yourselves, or you will never be able to care for your loved one.
